Elegant, graphic and full of life. Fan-shaped ginkgo leaves in mustard gold and soft cream drift across a rich, deep teal field.

Every leaf is carved with fine radiating veins, so the shapes stand out in gentle relief. It looks wonderful with pale oak floors, a mustard velvet chair and brass accents, in living rooms, bedrooms and studies.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

How long will my rug take to arrive?
Every rug is hand-tufted to order just for you. Production takes 10–15 days, plus shipping time to your door.
What is the rug made of?
A dense wool pile with a cotton backing. The pile is about 12 mm deep, soft underfoot and naturally hard-wearing.
Does the rug shed?
New wool rugs shed a little loose fibre at first. This is normal and settles down after a few weeks of regular vacuuming.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum gently without a beater bar and spot clean spills with a mild detergent. For a deep clean, we recommend a professional rug cleaner. Avoid long periods of direct sunlight to keep the colours fresh.
Do I need a rug pad?
We recommend one. A rug pad stops the rug slipping, adds extra cushioning and helps it last longer.
What sizes are available?
Rectangles from 4x6 ft up to 12x18 ft, squares from 4x4 to 7x7 ft, rounds from 4 to 7 ft, and runners in 2.5x8 ft and 2x10 ft. Choose your size from the Size menu above.
Will my rug look exactly like the photos?
Each rug is made by hand, so small variations in colour, carving and size are normal. They are part of what makes your rug unique.

Our heritage

Three generations of craft

Our family has made rugs in Bhadohi, the heart of India's carpet-making country, for three generations. The skills passed from grandfather to father to son are the same ones in every Taana rug today.

Every piece is made by hand: sculpted with a tufting gun, tied knot by knot on the loom, or hand-woven into a thick chunky weave. No two are ever exactly alike.
