Graceful, meaningful and full of life. A flowering tree of life rises from an urn on a soft ivory field, flanked by slender sage cypress trees, and framed by a dusty rose border of blue and ivory blooms. Finished with hand-tied fringe at each end.
Every knot is tied by hand by our weavers in Bhadohi, using hand-spun wool that softens and gains a natural lustre over the years. Because each rug is made by hand, small variations in tone are part of its character.

Our heritage
Three generations of craft
Our family has made rugs in Bhadohi, the heart of India's carpet-making country, for three generations. The skills passed from grandfather to father to son are the same ones in every Taana rug today.
Every piece is made by hand: sculpted with a tufting gun, tied knot by knot on the loom, or hand-woven into a thick chunky weave. No two are ever exactly alike.
